while learning how to develop a website from scratch

People often ask me: "Why don't you use a free platform?"
And my answer is simple: "I want to create my own platform".
Well - i'm guessing I wanna know how to develope my own moneymaker website.
FYI I'm learning all of this with the help of W3schools
And with some tiny help from the side thanks to ChatGPT
